This will return your DC-1 to its factory settings, and you will lose any information on the device. Make sure everything is backed up before doing this.
- Unlock parental controls by long-pressing the home screen
- Scroll to the bottom
- Select Settings
- In the search bar, search for Erase All Data
- Select Erase all data
- Select Erase all data once more
Once you do a factory reset, the DC-1 will run through several automations. This saves you the trouble of having to manually set up all the boring stuff!
Please do not touch the DC-1 while it is setting up.
When your Daylight Computer shuts itself off (seen below at time 9:10), then you will be able to power it back on, and be good to go!
